Chris has conducted year end “pre-audit” analysis and adjustment of general ledger accounts, and prepared work papers in the form used by auditing firms for Indian Tribal governments, Tribal enterprises, and Tribal housing authorities

Chris has conducted year end “pre-audit” analysis of federal grant and contract programs, and provided ledger adjustments for grant receivable/deferred accounts, indirect cost applications, and federal financial reports required under program regulations

Chris has provided training to Tribal staff to meet the required standards for proper grant and governmental accounting

Chris has written successful contract and grant applications for programs funded by Housing & Urban Development, Health & Human Services, the Arizona Department of Economic Security, the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, as well as Indian Health Service and the Bureau of Indian Affairs

Chris has conducted special purpose lease compliance examinations and sales tax compliance examinations of non-Tribal businesses operating on Tribal lands

Chris has researched and written financial policies and procedures manuals meeting applicable federal regulations and best business practices

Chris has performed attestation engagements regarding compliance with federal regulations governing Indian gaming for submission to the National Indian Gaming Commission and the Arizona Department of Gaming

Prior and concurrent to Chris’ work with Indian communities, Chris has performed audit or accounting assistance for the following commercial entities:

• The second largest sporting goods wholesaler in Chicago
• The distributor of AMC, Honda and Toyota automobiles east of the Mississippi
• One of the first shopping center developers in Chicago
• Numerous small real estate developers, service corporations, medical providers, wholesalers and retailers
